How River Belle Protects Your Data

A plain-language look at what we collect, why we collect it, and how Canadian players can control their information.

Your Data, Explained

Last updated: September 30, 2026

We collect only what we need to run a secure, compliant CAD casino for Canadian players: enough to verify who you are, process your deposits and payouts, and keep your account safe.

What We Collect at Sign-Up and During Verification

When you register a River Belle account, we ask for your full name, date of birth, home address, email, and phone number. This confirms you meet the 19+ minimum age for online gambling in Canada and lets us match your identity to your payment methods. Before your first withdrawal, and periodically afterward, we may ask for a government-issued photo ID, a proof-of-address document such as a utility bill, and in some cases a selfie for facial match. This is standard know-your-customer (KYC) practice across regulated and self-regulated online casinos and it protects both you and us from fraud and identity theft.

Verification documents are stored in encrypted form and are only accessible to our compliance and payments teams. We do not sell, rent, or share your identity documents with marketing partners.

Payment Data: Interac, Cards, and Crypto

River Belle does not process payments directly. Interac e-Transfer deposits and withdrawals are handled through Interac's own secure network and our licensed payment processing partners; we receive confirmation of the transaction, not your online banking credentials. Visa and Mastercard payments run through PCI-DSS compliant card processors, meaning your full card number is tokenised and never stored on our servers in readable form.

If you deposit or withdraw using Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin, we work with third-party crypto payment processors to convert and settle transactions. These processors may independently verify wallet ownership and screen transactions against anti-money-laundering databases, which is standard practice across the crypto payments industry. We retain wallet addresses and transaction hashes for as long as required for audit, dispute resolution, and financial record-keeping.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our site uses cookies for three main purposes: keeping you logged in securely, remembering your language and display preferences, and understanding which games and pages are popular so we can improve the site. We also use analytics cookies to measure how players move through the site, and, where you consent, marketing cookies to show you relevant promotions on other sites.

  • Essential cookies: required for login, session security, and cart-style bonus tracking. These cannot be turned off without breaking core site function.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand traffic patterns and fix broken pages. Anonymised where possible.
  • Preference cookies: remember your currency display, language, and sound settings.
  • Marketing cookies: used only with your consent, to personalise offers and measure campaign performance.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time, and most browsers let you block or delete cookies selectively. Blocking essential cookies will likely prevent you from logging into your River Belle account.

Who We Share Data With

Beyond payment processors, we share limited data with identity verification services, fraud prevention networks, and, where legally required, financial crime reporting bodies. We may also share anonymised or aggregated data with game providers such as Evolution Gaming, Pragmatic Play, and NetEnt for game performance and RTP auditing purposes, but this does not include your name, address, or payment details.

Your Rights: Access, Correction, and Deletion

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting our support team through live chat or email. If any information is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it. You can also request that we delete your account data, though we may need to retain certain financial and verification records for a period after account closure to meet anti-money-laundering and audit obligations. We will tell you clearly what we can delete immediately and what must be retained, and for how long.

If you self-exclude or set deposit limits through our responsible gambling tools, some of that data is kept specifically to enforce the limits you set, even if you later ask us to delete other account information.

Data Security

Account and payment data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to sensitive records is restricted to staff who need it to do their jobs, and we log access to identity and financial data for audit purposes. No system is completely immune to risk, so we also recommend using a unique password for your River Belle account and enabling any two-factor options we offer.

Questions or Requests

For any privacy question, data access request, or deletion request, contact our support team directly rather than a third party. Full details of the registered entity responsible for this policy are published in the site footer; please confirm those details there before submitting a formal legal request.

Classic Riverboat Style, Modern Canadian Play

River Belle operates under a self-declared international licence. No single Canadian regulator licenses offshore casinos for players outside Ontario; please confirm the current licence number and issuing authority in the site footer before you play.
